-
Why Rhino Linings?Rhino Linings is the world leader in sprayed-on truck bed liners - and the bed liner brand most asked for by name! We offer the widest selection of professionally installed bed liner products, including HardLine, TuffGrip and our new SolarMax, with outstanding UV protection and color that's built right into the chemistry unlike other leading brands. We develop and control the manufacturing process of our own materials, guaranteeing consistent and durable protection with the highest quality. Plus, we offer a Nationwide Limited Lifetime Warranty that's valid at more than 850 Rhino Linings dealerships. Take a close look at the Rhino Linings advantage!
-
Does Rhino Linings interfere with installation of other accessories (campers, fifth wheels, etc.)?"Generally, there should be no clearance issues with the installation of other accessories - but it's always a good idea to consult with your Rhino Linings dealer if you have an accessory whose installation tolerance is less than 1/4". Plus, all Rhino Linings go extremely well with fifth wheel hitches!
-
How long does it take?A professionally installed Rhino Linings typically takes about 3 hours. Check with your local dealer, but you can normally drop it off in the morning and be ready to go that afternoon.
-
Can I use my truck right away?Yes, Rhino Linings dries to the touch in just seconds. But we recommend that you wait about 24 hours for heavy duty use, to allow the bed liner material to fully cure.
-
What about the drain holes in my truck bed? Will they still be open?Yes, one of the advantages of a Rhino Linings bed liner over a plastic drop-in bed liner is that it maintains your truck's factory-designed drainage system. Drop-ins often splash any water out of the tailgate area or can trap ice in the winter!
-
Is Rhino Linings repairable?Yes, if you damage your truck, your local Rhino Linings dealer is equipped to make seamless, professional quality repairs.
-
Will Rhino Linings withstand temperature extremes?Yes, Rhino Linings sprayed-on bed liners are rated for use in temperatures ranging from subzero to 190°F. They are engineered to withstand the severe cold of Alaska to the intense heat of Arizona, while providing maximum protection and corrosion resistance.
-
Will the bed feel hotter than the rest of my truck? No, due to the fact that Rhino Linings forms a direct bond to the surface of your truck bed, allowing efficient heat transfer (i.e. no thermo effect compared to a drop-in). In fact it will actually "feel" cooler than the metal on your truck on a hot day!
-
Does Rhino Linings come in colors? We currently offer Black Rhino Linings only.
-
Is there a product warranty?Rhino Linings offers a Limited Lifetime National Warranty that is good for as long as you own your vehicle. The warranty covers peeling, blistering, flaking, bubbling or other workmanship issues. If you happen to move, the warranty is valid at any of our more than 850 dealers nationwide. For more information, please call Rhino Linings at 1-800-747-6966 or contact your local dealer and ask about our warranty program.
-
Can Rhino Liningsbe used as an undercoating? No. But it can be applied in body-off restoration projects in which the vehicle is completely stripped.
-
What other applications can Rhino Linings be used for?Rhino Linings can be applied to virtually any properly prepared surface for durable and long-lasting protection. Grille guards and bumpers, rocker panels, fender flares, and floor wells are just some examples. Rhino Linings can also be used on trailers, ATVs, tractors, boats and anything else that will benefit from outstanding protection and corrosion resistance.
-
Is Rhino Linings environmentally friendly?Yes. Rhino Linings bed liners contain no VOCs (i.e. possible health hazards) or CFCs (i.e. which can damage the ozone layer).
-
Can I take it out?Rhino Linings sprayed-on linings are designed to provide permanent protection for your vehicle. A Rhino Lining performs so well, you'll surely never want or need to remove it!
-
Will the lining hold up in rugged conditions and temperature extremes?Yes! Rhino Linings are specifically engineered not to warp, crack, peel or split due to weather or other environmental factors. Unlike plastic drop-in liners or some other sprayed-on liners, they are formulated to withstand heavy-duty use while offering superior abrasion and corrosion resistance. All Rhino Linings work and look great in temperatures between -40 degrees F and 190 degrees F. Rhino Linings... the world's No. 1 sprayed-on truck bed liner and the brand most often asked for by name!
-
How thick is the material applied? We spray 90-100Mils thick. The Rhino Linings material (polyurethane) is sprayed in by experienced technicians. We find that this thickness more than satisfies the vast majority of our customers.
-
What is and isn't covered by the lifetime warranty? The lifetime warranty says that we will repair or replace, free of charge any defect in materials or workmanship that results in bubbling, peeling or cracking of the coating. On the other hand, the warranty does not cover any scratches or chips that might result from the movement of heavy/sharp objects over the bedliner. Think of it this way, its very similar to the warranty on your truck paint job: if the paint cracks or peels because it is faulty, it is covered. On the other hand, if scratch or chip your paint due to a minor or major incident, the paint warranty does not cover the damage.
-
How long does the undercoating take?Start to finish say it takes about 5 hours, and that we will have it back usually by the end of the day.
